During my teenage years, I was known to be the short & pleasantly plump girl who was always trying hard to stay trim. I resorted to staying away from meat, soft drinks, milk & eggs, thinking that this would help me to lose weight. Unfortunately, I remained “rounded” despite all my efforts, and my weight eventually escalated to 55kgs.

In 2011, I signed up for David Devito’s workout programme and experienced great results through regular kettlebell and circuit training classes. I now workout three times a week at The Fitness Protocol gym and enjoy the variety of routines which David customises for each and every class. As a result of intensive core and squat training, I now workout with Kettlebells ranging from 12 to 18kgs in weight across a variety of events. Because I train so regularly nowadays, I can eat as much meat as I want for its rich protein qualities!

Although I have seen definition in my body which I never thought was possible, I’m adamant that this is still work in progress and am working hard to achieve the dream figure I desire!
