I’ve always had a weight issue since my childhood days. Weighing 64kgs as a teenager, I had to wear loose clothing to hide my flab and fat thighs. When I was 16 years old, a friend introduced me to the Weight Watchers diet program. I lost 8kgs in 3 months but put it all back on all within 2 years. I have also tried many different diet plans and a host of slimming products, but they never worked.
In 2009, I undertook a new role in my work which centred around structuring a healthy lifestyle programme for staff and inculcating worklife balance. As a result of this, I started exercising 3 times a week. I then took up running as a hobby and was subsequently introduced to kettlebells in 2011.
Workouts at The Fitness Protocol have helped me strengthen my core and accorded my definition at the right places. I am now at my ideal weight of 51kgs. My fitness routine has eradicated all the unsightly cellulite which I used to have. There is no turning back for me!
